Urbas - Science Week of October 22 - 26

Students in science class this week will be working of classes of lavers and the concept of speed in various activities in the lab.

Urbas - Science Week of October 15 - 19

Students will be working with simple machines and motion this week. Potential and Kinetic energy will be examined in relation to motion.

Urbas - Science Week of October 8 - 12

Students in Science class this week will be taking a test on Safety, Problem Solving, and Metrics to finish the current unit. The test will be on Friday, 10 / 12.

We are beginning our study of machines which includes work, motion, force, mechanical advantage, and Newton's Laws.

Urbas - Science Week of October 1-5.

Students will be introduced to the Scientific Method and use it to interpret experiments they are performing. Safety will also be highlighted this week.
