Urbas - Science Week of Dec. 12 - 18

Students have been busily building machines from LEGO parts and this week investigated pulleys and cranes for mechanical advantage. Next week they will finish their investigations and actually build a machine that they design to solve a problem they are given in a practical test.

Students are working with LEGO kits this week in an effort to investigate simple machines which lead to more complex machines.
