Next week in Science, students will be finishing up their investigations of Light and Color by working with Prisms, observing color presentation through filters, and changes in light.
In science this week students were treated to a presentation during 4th period of Friday covering Global Warming by Tricia Avanzado, a senior in college. Tricia gave a talk that featured a great deal of information of the Global Warming crisis and how we as ordinary citizens can help. The talk was a part of a class she is taking in college. The students saw a Powerpoint presentation and were encourged to suggest solutions and hypothesize on future problems. It was an excellent presentation.
